This will be an event that can span several weeks. The objective is complete control of Yew.

In the interest of bolstering activity in the roleplay community, this event will be broken up into two phases. The first phase is intended to stir up activity and interaction through PvP with an RP backstory, paving the way for a successful phase two. 

Phase one May 15, 2012 8pm EST

Every Tuesday and Thursday Starting 5/15/2012, The Yew Militia will be transporting supplies from the Court of Truth in Yew in an effort to retake the Kingsroad designated on the map. They must follow the path designated on the event map attached. The caravan will consist of 4 packhorses filled with weapons and supplies and the men and women of the Yew Militia protecting it. The Yewian forces must reach each position with at least 2 pack horses alive and hold the stronghold for 1 hour in order to capture the stronghold. Each stronghold must be taken twice, Tuesday and Thursday of each week to be considered held. Capturing the same stronghold two consectutive nights will secure and fortify the location. The Militia will start fortifying their defenses at the stronghold closest to the Court of Truth. Once a stronghold is fortified, they will move on to the next fort. Successful capture of every fort will result in the Kingsroad being retaken by Yew, and end phase one.



Phase One. 

Rules of Engagement:

For Phase One, each team may use magic armor and weapons. No summons or pets are allowed. AOE spells including wall of stone, poison field, energy field, are all acceptable. The Horde may set up roadblocks and ambushes and may roam throughout Yew as they please. During the event nights, the Yewian force must stay within sight of the road on screen at all times. No looting, no reskilling. If you are killed you must wear a deathrobe for five minutes, and may not participate in the current battle in any way for those five minutes. 

If more than two of the packhorses are slain along the way, the event is over for that night. If the Yewians make it successfully to the stronghold with their packhorses but are then defeated while attempting to hold it for one hour, the event is over for that night. If the horses are slain or the Yewians are slain defending the stronghold, they will be pushed back to the previous stronghold or to their original starting point at the court of truth.  The Yew Militia will start based out of the Court of Truth and must fight its way down the designated path, retaking each stronghold on Tuesday, then fortifying it with additional supplies on Thursday. The Militia must start from the Court of Truth each time, as their supply ship is harbored safely behind the walls of the court. 

This event is designed to increase RP activity on both sides. Once this phase is complete, I will release information on a more epic phase two tI would encourage any roleplayers that feel they can follow a simple RoE  to post below if you are interested in participating. We are in need of evil characters more than good characters, but all are welcome to participate if you respect the rules.
